Synopsis

Gerry Conlon is a small-time thief in Belfast, who is falsely implicated in the IRA bombing of two pubs just outside of London, which caused many deaths. He and four of his friends are coerced into confessing by the British police, and sentenced to fourteen years in prison, while his father is also imprisoned for his supposed hand in the crime.
